How has the gender war effected you lately?

Right now I'm concerned with two candidates for the same post. One has more experience than the other in relevant fields. The other is better looking. One is female and the other male. I am concerned that the inexperienced, good-looking male will get the job when, based on experience alone, it should be the woman. This worries me because I have no idea how that man will handle a crisis or which way he'll jump. Her, I'm certain of. If you were hiring, which way would you go?
