I hate my boyfriends father?

i cant stand my boyfriends dad,he used 2 beat up his family and his wife have no confidence whatsoever,she is scared of him all the time,this has caused major arguments between my boyfriend and i as i feel he is trying 2 control my daughter as she gets the blame 4 everything that goes wrong he puts everyone down and thinks noone is better than him,ive had rows with this man over everything but not once does my boyfriend ever stand up 2 him even when he nos im rite,ive stopped visiting their house but it just gets 2 me that my boyfriend will drop everything 4 him straight away ,if we have plans of our own made and hes father decides he wants 2 do something with the kids our plans must go astray to please that prick.when my sisters died i had 2 leave my kids with a friend of mine coz they wouldnt mind them,even my own dad after losing his daughters would come down and take the kids off ,and no matter how many times i asked his parents 2 bring them off they wouldnt i just cant stand the man,nobody likes him they all no what he did when my boyfriend was younger,now he goes off every weekend,lives the good life and leaves his handicapped son at home with his mother who is very sick by the way,and we have 2 give up our weekends 2 go down and keep an eye on them,which i dont mind,but i just feel like im missing out on the days out i could have with my kids ,at the weekend when they are not in school or we are not at work.its so hard 2 let this hatred go,im doing everything except exploding ,this man could go weeks without seeing his grandkids he cant even pick up the phone 2 talk 2 them,yet we are expected 2 fall over backwards 4 him,i just feel so angry and want 2 hurt him.
