Invincible Iron Man Comic Question?

There's about 20 issues of Invincible Iron Man by Matt Fraction. I want to start reading them but I don't really want to start at #1 because that would get expensive. I hear that its really good and one of the best comics right now. What issue should I start at so that I understand whats going on?
